Bristow Project
This house was built in 1922 and included two separate areas of renovation.
The first involved building an entirely new second story master bathroom and closet. We added a new second story over an existing billiard room. In order to support a very large two-person tub, we had to install added support in the billiard room ceiling. The master bath included an oversized shower with gorgeous marble tile and heated flooring. The master closet features an island cabinet. Another unique feature in the closet is a stackable washer/dryer unit. This made it very convenient for our client’s, as the only other laundry area is in the basement.
The second part involved reclaiming attic space and creating an entire third story living space. The third story renovation included adding three large dormers to allow light and egress windows. Incorporated in this space are an audio/video area, open bedroom space, and full bathroom. This is a perfect area for guests to stay and have their own private living quarters.
